General Description
The MGR2202 ultra-low quiescent current regulator features low dropout voltage and low current in the standby mode. With less than 1.5μA quiescent current at no load, the MGR2202 is ideally suited for standby micro-control-unit systems, especially for always-on applications like E-meters, fire alarms, smoke detectors and other battery operated systems. The MGR2202 retains all of the features that are common to low dropout regulators including a low dropout PMOS pass device, short circuit protection, and thermal shutdown.
The MGR2202 has a 24-V maximum operating voltage limit, a -40°C to 125°C operating temperature range, and ±2% output voltage tolerance over the entire output current, input voltage, and temperature range. The MGR2202 is available in SOT235, SOT233, SOT893, surface mount packages.

General Description:
The MGR78L05 three terminal positive regulators is available with 5V fixed output voltage, making it useful in a wide range of applications. Used as a Zener-diode and resistor combination replacement, the MGR78L05 usually provides an effective output impedance improvement of two orders of magnitude and lower quiescent current. These regulators can provide local, on-card regulation, eliminating distribution problems associated with single-point regulation. The available voltages allow the MGR78L05 to be used in logic systems, instrumentation, HiFi, and other solid-state electronic equipment.
The MGR78L05 is available in the plastic SOT89-3 package, and SOT23-3 package package. With adequate heat sinking, the regulator can deliver 100-mA output current. Current limiting is included to limit the peak output current to a safe value. Safe area protection for the output transistors is provided to limit internal power dissipation. If internal power dissipation is too high for the heat sinking provided, the thermal shutdown circuit prevents the IC from overheating.

General Description:
The MGR2105 device is a very high voltage-tolerant linear regulator that offers the benefits of a thermally-enhanced package, and is able to withstand continuous DC or transient input voltages of up to 100 V. The MGR2105 device is stable with output capacitance greater than 2.2μF and any input capacitance greater than 0.47μF. Therefore, implementations of this device require minimal board space because of its miniaturized packaging and a potentially small output capacitor. In addition, the MGR2105 device offers an enable pin (EN) compatible with standard CMOS logic to enable a low-current shutdown mode.
The MGR2105 device has an internal thermal shutdown and current limiting to protect the system during fault conditions. The SOP8-EP packages have an operating temperature range of TJ = –40°C to 125°C. In addition, the MGR2105 device is ideal for generating a low-voltage supply from intermediate voltage rails in telecom and industrial applications; not only can it supply a well-regulated voltage rail, but it can also withstand and maintain regulation during very high and fast voltage transients. These features translate to simpler and more cost-effective electrical surge-protection circuitry for a wide range of applications, including PoE, bias supply, and LED lighting.
